About 2024 Smart Freight Symposium

SFC symposium is our annual research event focused on the contemporary challenges in urban freight mobility.

We are excited to announce the sixth annual Smart Freight Symposium, proudly presented by the Smart Freight Centre. This year, the event will be hosted at the McMaster University campus in Burlington.

Monday, November 18th, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Building on the success of our previous symposia, this event promises to bring together leading voices from government, industry, and academia to discuss the latest in sustainable freight transportation. As always, our goal is to foster collaboration, share cutting-edge research, and highlight innovations in the field.

We are proud to feature 11 presentations from SFC students and postdoctoral researchers, distributed across the three symposium sessions. Three winners have been selected, one from each session.
